Field growth
The Colombian economy continues to show signs of recovery, an example of this are the figures revealed by the Dane, which detailed that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the second quarter of 2021 achieved an increase of 17.6%, in which the growth of all branches of activity stands out, including agriculture, which obtained a variation of 3.8%. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Rodolfo Zea Navarro, indicated that “the programs of the national government, among which are included those of 'Together for the Field', have yielded results to reactivate the national economy, which is growing today 17, 6% ". In addition, the head of the agricultural portfolio stressed that specifically “agriculture never stopped having positive data during the pandemic, all this thanks to the policies of this Government for the sector, which has allowed progress in productive inclusion, irrigation of credits in the field to small producers, and direct support and incentives to certain sectors ”. El ministro de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural, Rodolfo Zea Navarro, indicó que “los programas del Gobierno nacional, entre los que se incluye el de 'Juntos por el Campo', han dado resultados para reactivar la economía nacional, que hoy crece un 17,6%”. Además, el titular de la cartera agrícola destacó que, específicamente, “la agricultura nunca dejó de registrar datos positivos durante la pandemia, gracias a las políticas de este Gobierno para el sector, que han permitido avances en la inclusión productiva, la concesión de créditos en el campo a pequeños productores y el apoyo directo e incentivos a ciertos sectores”.
